1. Start sleeving only when flowers have been positively released by QC 2
2.Allocated flowers to sleevers from stock according to pack list, only bring 3-6 buckets per table at a time.
3. Remove flower bunches from buckets one by one to sleeve to specification given attach flower food when applicable, place sleeved bunches on the table.
4.Place every sleeved bunches in empty buckets then on to a trolley when full pulled away to the cooling cold room.
Sleeves must be at correct position, use sleeving stoppers and no hanging tapes or foliage under rubber bands,
QC must sample at least 5% of the batch and record on the QC 3 the inspection observations and any corrective actions taken before being ferried to the holding cold room.
NB: Sample bunches to be weighed and if any bunch weight fall within 5% of minimum weight, break up the bunch and weigh individual stems to remove stems not meeting minimum stem weight.
5.Ensure the table surface is always clean and dry.
6. Record number of bunches sampled.
7. Sleeve wickets are placed in specific boxes to avoid mixing with organic matter.
8. Any packaging material balances are recorded and returned to the supervisor
