The farm management is committed to using agrochemicals in a rational manner
Only those pesticides approved by the the pesticide control and produce board (PCPB) and customers shall be used.
Annually the farm shall review the agrochemical list to ensure only chemicals approved by PCPB and destination markets are used.
All legal requirements shall be followed as stated in the pesticide labels and proper care shall be taken to minimize any pollution to the environment and especially water bodies
The farm shall not order, handle store or use any prohibited chemicals
The company shall endeavor to reduce the use of class II chemicals
This shall be achieved by:
. Proper scouting and timely control of pests and diseases
. Use of biological control alternatives to control pests
.Use of class III and IV chemicals wherever necessary
.Training staff on proper chemical application methods
. Annual review and updates of all chemicals used on the farm and banned chemical lists by PCPB, affiliate organizations and destination markets
